Menswear is something I've always been interested in and enjoyed observing from afar. However, I'm the kind of person that is more than happy in a well fitted Uniqlo T-Shirt, straight leg trousers and a pair of New Balance 990. That's just me.
However... I must now admit that I do feel I'm more interested in dressing up in a more formal regard. The reason for this 'feeling' is due to producing such detailed, intricate straps for timepeices. These products take a considerable amount of time to produce. I suppose the level of craftsmanship I put into my work is why my mind is changing in the respect of how I should dress.
Anyway, I'll get to the point of this blog post. I was fortunate enough to be given some offcuts of a matte black crocodile tail (maybe it's alligator).
It was time for my Seiko to have an updated strap. The fauve baranil one I had made felt a bit too feminine for my liking. I wanted a darker coloured strap with tonal stitching. So black on black was the perfect combination.
