Whilst on holiday in Mallorca or Majorca (whichever you prefer), I wanted to reach out to some watch enthusiasts, in the hopes I could promote my straps on some very prestigious time pieces.
Since starting to learn and take Watch Strap making more seriously; I knew it was time to begin networking with those who wanted what I had.
So, thanks to the explore page on Instagram, using a few keywords for watches and brand names, I had found a few accounts to reach out to with ease.
One of those accounts was called 'baron_watchez' who is owned by Benni. I spoke with him about his Leuba Louis and how the strap he currently had on it wasn't up to par. He was after something to compliment the dial of the watch. We decided on Chevrè and the 'Electric Blue' colour as it was closest to the dial.
The strap tapered from 19 to 14mm, so creating the pattern wasn't too challenging. However, you must always check with a taper to make sure that the holes are beneath the taper, otherwise the buckle won't go through!
